Scorpio Season is another performance within the Coping Times Series. The act took place at the helicopter pad in the middle of the leisure resort. The costume for this performance was created from household materials, tools, protective clothing and workwear, as well as objects related to housework, routine, martial arts and cheap labour.
As often happens in Dagnini’s performances, the persona here implicates a multitude of images, like a collage assembled from different picture parts. It may appear as strange, creepy, comical, disturbing, or all at the same time. During the performance, this odd figure moves in circles repeatedly, dragging itself onwards with difficulty, following the circular line on the asphalt surface of the helicopter landing pad.
