The performance resembles a mythical creature known in different cultures as a snake biting its own tail. In this case, a ring-shaped worm with a human head is holding its only thumb in its mouth. Lying silently, the body appears as a strange live object, an artefact or a wicked dormant beast.
One of the performances took place in Taman, a region famous for its archeological finds over the past few centuries. Uroboros lies at the bottom of a deep pit within an excavation site. Due to its shiny silver perforated armour, the ‘object’ resembles both a discovered treasure and an underground drainage pipe in need of repair.
