The peeing boy appears in the middle of an art fair as an object, rotating on the specially built installation. The installation itself resembles a fragment of a typical post-Soviet yard complete with a sandpit and primitive art objects, resembling handicrafts made by local residents from painted tyres designed as flower beds and sculptures.
The boy spins round and round on a carousel, peeing into a sandpit as he turns (mimicking the school boy prank of banana-down-pants). Simultaneously there is the baroque aesthetic of twee fountains and flourishing gardens as well as the typical attributes of post-Soviet urban space with its primitive carousels and mischievous school-boy behaviour.
