Those born in perestroika and the early nineties played the same games on their PCs, chose the same role models from society and places to hang out in. This project is research on a "threatened species" — disappearing subcultures, popular in the school years of that generation.
Vivid characters of their representatives are combined with mythical creatures from the cult game Heroes of Might and Magic.

Classical Russian Gopniks, for their habit of sitting on hunkers, are called gargoyles. In the performance, these two images are combined. The viewer is watching the beast through the glass: the rules of the "non contact bestiary" protect the viewer from the gargoyle and the creature from the viewer.
